What do I do if I do not have my proof of purchase?
If you require your Chicco product to be inspected by our Chicco Engineer team and you are unable to provide your proof of purchase, a fee of £35.00 is chargeable for this service per product. This serivce includes the collection and return of your chicco product(s) via our couier service within the UK and Ireland only.
You are able to select a suitable date and time for the collection between Monday and Friday 9am-5pm (excluding public holidays and bank holidays).
Once your collection date and time is confirmed, Chicco will issue a unquie Chicco returns number, this must be quoted on all corresondence to our Chicco Consumer Care Team.
You are required to ensure your product is suitably packaged to ensure no damage occurs during transportation.
Please note any spare parts will be charged in addition to the £35.00 fee. We will notify you after the inspection has taken place if spare parts are required and advise the cost. If you wish to proceed with the repair we will issue you an invoice, once payment has been received we will repair accordingly and then return your product to you.
If the inspection outcome is deemed to be a manufactures fault, then your product will either be repaired or replaced and the fee of £35.00 will be refunded to you. Please note if your product has been discontinued from our current range, meaning no spare parts are available to carry out a repair and your product is deemed to have a manufactures fault, a similar product of the same retail value will be provided as a replacement. We do not have the facility to refund you the original cost of your product, we can only repair or replace in accordance with the above.
Your 2 years Chicco manufactures warranty
Chicco offeres a 2 years warranty for manufacturing defects.
This warranty begins from the date of purchase and is valid for the original purchasing individual only.
Please retain your proof of purchase (sales receipt) for the duration of the warranty period offered.
The warranty is valid in the UK and Ireland only.
What is covered?
* Any manufacturing fault to the product
What is not covered?
*Normal wear and tear
*Failure to maintain the product as advised in the user instructions
* Accidental or willful damage
*Repair or modification carried out by a non approved retailer
* The use on non-genuine Chicco spare parts or accessories
*Child outgrowing the product or change of mind
*Damage to handle foams, wheels and fabrics caused in use
What to do in case of defect?
In the first instance, please return to the retailer from where the product was puchased. You will also need to include your proof of purchase (sales reciept). If the product is found to be defective, Chicco at discretion may provide a spare part, conduct a repair or exchange the product.
Whilst under warranty, if the defect is found not to be of a manufaturing nature, Chicco reserve the right to charge for any repairs carried out or spare part provided.
This Warranty is in addition to and does not replace your statutory rights.
